How Consignment Works

1. Gather Your Items

Collect your children's gently used clothing, toys, books, and baby gear that you no longer need. Make sure items are clean, in good condition, and ready to sell. Clothing MUST be layed flat in a basket or container, never thrown into a bag. 

2. Bring Them In

Drop off your items at our Crestview location during store hours. See "What We Accept" below for detailed guidelines. Our team carefully inspects each item to ensure it meets our quality standards. We price items competitively based on brand, condition, and current market value.

3. We Sell, You Get Paid

Your items go on our sales floor where Crestview families shop for their kids. As your items sell, your consignor account balance grows. You earn a percentage of each sale. Choose to receive cash or use your earnings as store credit to shop for your own children.

Consignment Guidelines

Condition Requirements:

CLOTHING/Shoes

  • 50 Pc of seasonal clothing per day
  • Freshly washed and clean
  • No stains, rips, holes, or excessive wear
  • All buttons, zippers, and snaps must function
  • Clothing should be laid flat (not wrinkled)
  • Clothes should be buttoned, zipped, and snapped when brought in

How to Prepare:

  1. Wash all clothing & shoes 
  2. Check for stains, damage, or wear
  3. Ensure all pieces are complete (no missing buttons, broken zippers)
  4. Lay clothing FLAT in a hard container (tote, laundry basket, box).  NEVER A BAG
  5. Bring items during store dropoff hours

BABY GEAR/Toys/Accessories

  1. Wipe down all items and wash any fabric.
  2. Insure items have all of their pieces
  3. Insure items have working batteries
  4. Place small pieces into a baggy
  5. Unlimited amounts of large baby gear
  6. As many toys/accessories that can fit into one fullsize tote.

Drop-Off: Items can be dropped off with no appointment needed during our dropoff hours of Mon-Fri 10:00-4:00 and Sat 9-1:00. Our team will inspect your items and add accepted pieces to your consignor account.

What We Accept

We accept gently used children's items in excellent, like-new condition. Here's what we're looking for:

Large Item Checklist

Spring/Summer Items (Typically February - July):

  • Shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, sundresses
  • Swimwear and beach toys
  • Sandals and summer shoes
  • Light jackets and rain gear
  • Outdoor toys and sports equipment

Year-Round:

  • Baby gear (strollers, high chairs, play mats, swings, bouncers)
  • Toys, books, puzzles, and games
  • Baby clothing (newborn - 24 months)

Fall/Winter Items (Typically August - January):

  • Jeans, pants, long-sleeve shirts
  • Sweaters, hoodies, jackets, coats
  • Boots and closed-toe shoes
  • Holiday outfits
  • Cold-weather accessories (hats, gloves, scarves)

Size Ranges:

  • Premie/Newborn through Junior (tween) sizes

What We Don't Accept

  • Car seats (safety regulations)
  • FULL Size Cribs-space constraints (we do sell mini cribs)
  • Items with stains, holes, or excessive wear
  • Recalled items
  • Broken toys or missing pieces
  • Out-of-season clothing
  • Outdated styles or brands

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment to consign?
No appointment is needed during our regular consignment drop-off hours M-F 10-4, Sat 9-1.
What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of consignment, all sales are final.

Do you accept used car seats?

For safety & liability reasons, we do not accept used car seats, bases, etc.

Do you check for recalls?

Yes! Safety is very important to us. We recall check items before accepting baby gear, toys, and equipment.

What happens to items that don’t sell?

Unsold items valued at under $20 our price may be donated or discounted at the end of the consignment period.  Anything over $20 that has not sold will be returned to the consignor. 

How and when do I get paid?

Consignor portion of the sales go into your store account immediately AFTER the item sells.  Consignor balances can be used as store credit around the store or cashed out once the balance is over $20.
